    Notes for installation and use of straight pipe pressure balance type and steering type expansion joints

     

    1. Straight pipe pressure balance type ripple compensator (expansion joint) is generally applied to the straight pipe line overhead, installed horizontally.

    2. After the installation of the straight pipe pressure balance type ripple compensator (expansion joint), all the small tie rods shall be removed.

    3. In order to reduce the elastic reaction of the bellows expansion joint to the support, the bellows expansion joint can be pre-pulled or pre-pressed before installation (it can be achieved by adjusting the small tie rod on it).
